Terms of Use
In short: this application is private. It is not a product, it is not for sale, and it cannot be signed up for. It exists so one household can look at its own money.
1. What this application is
The Verdianz FIRE Dashboard ("the application") is a private, self-hosted personal-finance application operated by Thomas Verdianz in a private capacity, for the use of his own household. It aggregates the household's own bank accounts to produce spend analysis, budgeting and alerts.
Operator: Thomas Verdianz, Austria, privately. He operates the application and is responsible for it. No company or business operates it, offers it, or has access to it, and no company accounts are connected to it.
2. Who may use it
Access is limited to the members of the operator's household who hold credentials for it. The application is not offered to the public. There is no registration, no customer relationship, and no way for a third party to obtain access.
3. Read-only access to bank accounts
The application uses the PSD2 account-information service, via Enable Banking Oy, to read balances and transactions from accounts the account holder has explicitly authorised at their own bank.
It holds no payment-initiation permission. It cannot transfer, send, or otherwise move money, and it cannot change anything at the bank. Every bank interaction is a read.
4. Authorisation and consent
Each bank account is linked only after its own holder authenticates directly with the bank and grants consent there. Consent is time-limited by the bank and expires — typically after up to 180 days — after which it must be renewed by the same process.
Any account holder may withdraw consent at any time, either in their online banking or by removing the connection in the application.
5. No advice
The application presents the household's own data and figures derived from it. Nothing it displays is financial, investment, tax or legal advice, and no such advice is offered through it or through these terms.
6. Accuracy
Figures are derived from data supplied by banks through a third-party aggregator. Banks restate transactions, consents lapse, and connections fail. The application flags stale and expired connections, but the authoritative record of any account is always the bank's own statement, not this application.
7. No warranty
The application is provided as-is, for private use, with no warranty of any kind and no guarantee of availability, accuracy or fitness for any purpose. As it is neither offered nor sold to anyone, no service level is promised to anyone.
8. Privacy
How data is handled is set out in the Privacy Policy. In summary: nothing is shared with any third party, and there is no analytics or advertising.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by Austrian law.
